Ascension Saint Thomas Partners With Unity Medical Center In Rural Tennessee 

Ascension Saint Thomas, a nonprofit, faith-based health system based in Nashville, Tennessee, entered a clinically integrated alliance with Unity Medical Center (UMC), an independent, 49-bed hospital in rural Tennessee.;UMC serves Manchester and Coffee counties. The partnership is intended to give people living in UMC’s service area greater access to specialty services, including women’s health, cardiology, and neurosciences. Support from Ascension Saint Thomas will include new technology and greater access to telemedicine, including telestroke and teleneuro capabilities.;
