Huntsman Mental Health Institute At The University Of Utah Launches Crisis Stabilization Program For Children & Adolescents
Huntsman Mental Health Institute at the University of Utah launched a specialized 24/7 crisis stabilization program designed for children and adolescents experiencing mental health emergencies. The Youth Crisis Care program provides immediate walk-in access to specialized care for youth ages 5 to 17.Â
The program can accommodate up to 12 individuals at a time. It can provide stabilization care for up to 23 hours before individuals are discharged or recommended for admission to the hospital or a more comprehensive program.
