Medicare Shared Savings Program Accountable Care Organizations Performance Year 2024 Financial & Quality Results

On August 28, 2025, the U.S. Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services published financial and quality results for Medicare Shared Savings Program (MSSP) accountable care organizations (ACOs). They saved Medicare $2.4 billion during program year (PY) 2024, according to a fact sheet issued by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).
