FDA Clears Magstim Magnetic Stimulation For Chronic Pain Treatment

Magstim Inc., announced that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) cleared its Magstim Rapid system as a treatment for chronic pain. The system can be used as a therapy to stimulate peripheral nerves for relief of chronic intractable, post-traumatic and post-surgical pain for adults age 18 years or older. The Magstim Rapid system represents the next evolution in non-invasive, drug-free pain management, according to the announcement.
