The awards, totaling $295,000, will address Oklahoma residents’ most urgent health-related social needs, including Food as Medicine programs, access to stable housing, and employment opportunities.
The awards are designed in direct alignment with Oklahoma’s health priorities and the needs of Humana’s Medicaid population in the state. Recent Health Risk Assessment data reveal 60% of Humana Healthy Horizons’ participating members reported experiencing financial strain, and 40% identified as experiencing food insecurity.
