Rohit Singh brings a diverse skill set to the OPEN MINDS team, with a focus on digital product design. His areas of expertise include user experience engineering, wireframing, and designing end-to-end digital experiences. IN addition, he has expertise in a wide range of tech platforms, including Acrobat, Illustrator, Photoshop, JavaScript, Google Analytics, and others.

Prior to joining OPEN MINDS, Mr. Singh was the Lead Product Designer at Rax, an app-based wardrobe rental platform based in Canada. In this role, Mr. Singh managed all aspects of the user experience/user interface (UX/UI) design process for iOS and Android platforms. His work led to a 40% boost in app usability through auditing user flows, conducting user tests, and refining designs. He also led initiatives increasing user engagement by 35%. Mr. Singh developed and maintained a design system at Rax that ensured consistent styling and scalability, reducing design time by 25%.

Before taking on this lead role, Mr. Singh served as a UX/UI Designer at Rax. In this capacity, he led the porting process of the app from a no-code platform to a coded platform. He designed compelling graphics for marketing materials and created wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes that increased brand awareness and user engagement.

Previously, Ms. Singh was Web Designer for Techtotherescue. In this position, he optimized website content to allow for faster loading speeds, designed a new user interface, videos, and content, and re-engineered the website structure to elevate SEO rankings. Mr. Singh has also served in design-based roles at Fandemand Inc., Payitfwd, and Blockchain Game Project.

Mr. Singh earned a master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Windsor. He received his UX/UI training from CareerFoundry. In addition, Mr. Singh is a professional photographer.
