Spokane, Washington, Funds 50 New Shelter Beds, Mobile Medication Assisted Treatment Services

The City of Spokane, Washington, announced it contracted with four local homeless services provider organizations to open additional emergency shelter beds. The city is also funding additional mobile units to provide medication assisted treatment (MAT).

The new beds will be available at sites scattered throughout the city operated by Revive Counseling Services; Jewels Helping Hands; the YWCA; and Community, Advocacy, and Treatment (CAT, formerly Compassionate Addiction Treatment). People looking to use these beds will soon be able to find information about them on sheltermespokane.org.
