Alzheimer’s Association Earns Joint Accreditation To Train Entire Health Care Teams In Brain Health & Dementia Care
The Alzheimer’s Association announced that it has earned Joint Accreditation status to provide interprofessional continuing education through Joint Accreditation for Interprofessional Continuing Education. The national credential allows the Association to train entire health care teams—including physicians, nurses, social workers, pharmacists, and others—through a single, unified accreditation process. The accreditation expands the Association’s ability to deliver education in brain health, early detection, diagnosis, and dementia care, while preparing the health care workforce for emerging treatments and innovations.
