Walmart Launches Digital Health Platform & Expands Wellness Offerings

Walmart announced the launch of Better Care Services, a digital platform that connects consumers to third-party provider organizations for virtual urgent care and behavioral health services.

The platform offers telehealth consultations, prescription fulfillment and delivery, and access to a nutrition-focused digital hub. Telehealth services are delivered through participating provider organizations, with options for same-day consultations. The platform also includes access to LillyDirect for in-store pickup of select medications, including treatments for obesity.

Better Care Services includes a Nutrition Hub that provides personalized food and recipe recommendations based on user data through an opt-in system.
