Utah’s Castleview Hospital Plans New Inpatient Behavioral Health Unit
Castleview Hospital has announced plans to build an inpatient behavioral health unit to serve residents of Carbon and Emery counties in Utah. A wall-breaking ceremony marking the start of the project was held on April 7, 2026, and was attended by hospital staff and local elected officials.
The unit will have 14 private beds and is expected to serve up to 500 consumers per year. Services will include inpatient stabilization, psychiatric evaluation and treatment, and discharge planning.
