The University Of Alabama At Birmingham Expands Care With Two New Specialty Programs Tailored To Developmental & Behavioral Health Conditions
The University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) Department of Pediatrics Division of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics, created two new specialty programs for children with developmental and behavioral health conditions. The new programs launched in collaboration with the Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities to expand clinical, training, and research activities.
The new Parent-Child Interaction Therapy Program, part of the Behavioral Intervention Clinic, offers behavioral interventions for children ages two to six presenting with disruptive or oppositional behaviors.
