University Of Missouri Opens Thompson Center For Autism & Neurodevelopment

The Thompson Center for Autism & Neurodevelopment at the University of Missouri has opened a new 74,000-square-foot facility at the MU Health Care South Providence Medical Park. The $54.8 million building marks a significant expansion for the center, which has provided autism and neurodevelopmental care for 20 years.

Clinical operations in the new building began in March 2026. In its final year at the previous facility, the Thompson Center completed more than 18,000 visits across 15 clinical subspecialties, serving approximately 4,500 families.
