Developmental Disabilities Institute In New York Rebrands As Brightway Living & Learning
After 65 years as the Developmental Disabilities Institute (DDI), the New York-based organization is rebranding as Brightway Living & Learning. The new name reflects a philosophy of support as a lifelong journey rather than a clinical endpoint, spanning early childhood services through adult residential care and vocational programs.
Brightway serves more than 1,600 children and adults with autism and other developmental disabilities across 65-plus locations on Long Island.
