WashU Announces New Academic-Industry Neuroscience Collaboration With Bristol Myers Squibb

Washington University in St. Louis (WashU) and Bristol Myers Squibb have formed a multiyear collaboration to foster scientific exchange between academia and industry in neuroscience. Under the agreement, WashU medical and research trainees will work alongside Bristol Myers Squibb teams on select drug development projects.

The collaboration builds on an existing research relationship that combines WashU's work in fundamental and clinical research on neurodegenerative diseases with Bristol Myers Squibb's experience in drug discovery and development. It will also give WashU Medicine trainees embedded experience within the industry.

Each year, the program will fund up to three visiting fellows . . .
