Ochsner Lafayette General & Oceans Healthcare Open Specialized Behavioral Health Hospital In Lafayette, Louisiana

Ochsner Lafayette General and Oceans Healthcare partnered to open Ochsner Behavioral Health Acadiana - Lafayette. The 62-bed facility opened to consumers on July 7, 2026, expanding access to inpatient and outpatient behavioral health services across the Acadiana region of Louisiana. The facility will provide partial hospitalization programs and intensive outpatient programs.

The hospital is a partnership between Ochsner Lafayette General and Oceans Healthcare aimed at increasing access to specialized behavioral health services for adolescent, adult, and geriatric consumers. The partnership allows more consumers to receive treatment closer to home rather than traveling outside the region.
