Biography

Aaron Henry is an experienced growth and strategy leader with more than a decade of experience in managed care and public-sector systems. He has extensive experience working with state agencies, Medicaid managed care organizations, and payer stakeholders to develop solutions that address complex clinical, operational, and financial needs. Mr. Henry brings expertise in business development, strategic partnerships, organizational transformation, and operational readiness to the OPEN MINDS team.

Prior to joining OPEN MINDS, Mr. Henry served as Vice President, Growth at Carelon Behavioral Health, where he led multi-state growth strategy across six states and supported a pipeline of more than $200 million in public-sector and managed behavioral health initiatives. During his tenure, he helped secure a $47 million-plus statewide behavioral health crisis system award from the Nevada Department of Behavioral Health and preserved and expanded revenue by more than $60 million across new markets and existing accounts.

Previously, Mr. Henry was Director, Enterprise Technology Transformation at Beacon Health Options, where he directed a $40 million annual enterprise investment portfolio and worked to align technology and operational investments with corporate strategy and organizational priorities. He also led the redesign of enterprise pricing and cost frameworks and developed a capacity management model that strengthened forecasting, investment planning, and executive decision-making.

Earlier in his career with Beacon Health Options, Mr. Henry served as Senior Manager, Business Architecture & Operational Readiness, leading initiatives supporting large-scale organizational transformation. In this role, he worked closely with senior leadership on strategic decision-making, capital planning, and acquisition readiness and identified more than $3 million in financial and process improvement opportunities.

Mr. Henry holds a Master of Arts in Economics from Old Dominion University and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy & Anthropology from The College of William & Mary. He is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and serves as a Graduate Economics Mentor at Old Dominion University.
