Louisiana To Raise I/DD Services Reimbursement By 3% On October 1, 2026

Effective October 1, 2026, the Louisiana Department of Health (LDH), Office of Intellectual and Developmental Disability Supports (OIDD), will implement partial rate increases for home- and community-based services (HCBS). The selected services were identified in a 2025 HCBS Rate Study.

The rate study was conducted by Milliman. OIDD solicited stakeholder feedback to the rate study and on the recommended options before moving forward. The 2026 legislature appropriated funding for the rate increase through House Bill 1.

Updated rate sheets will be added to the Medicaid manual when they are complete, the announcement stated. OIDD will distribute the rate sheets . . .
