California Assembly Bill 1556; Recovery Housing Funding
The legislation was signed on September 29, 2026. It allows provider organizations offering addiction recovery housing to apply for state homelessness funding. To qualify for the funding, the sober recovery housing provider organizations must have a written policy dictating what to do if someone relapses.
