Horizon Treatment Services Moves Forward With 69-Bed Recovery Center In Burlingame, California

Horizon Treatment Services plans to develop a 69-bed Horizon Recovery Center at 826 Mahler Road in Burlingame, California. The California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) approved the relocation of state funding for the project, and the San Mateo County Board of Supervisors approved a $2.5 million local contribution.

The project is supported by a $25.5 million grant from the Behavioral Health Continuum Infrastructure Program (BHCIP). It is planned to bring sobering, withdrawal management, and residential treatment services to one location, expanding access to substance use disorder treatment and recovery services in San Mateo County.
