In April 2012, the Government Accountability Office (GAO) released its analysis of Social Security Administration (SSA) data from the Supplemental Security Record. Data are provided as a set of tables by state that detail the number of children with disabilities receiving supplemental security income (SSI) program benefits for mental impairments.
