In April 2012, the Government Accountability Office (GAO) released its analysis of Social Security Administration (SSA) data from the Supplemental Security Record. Data are provided as a set of tables by state that detail the number of children with disabilities receiving supplemental security income (SSI) program benefits for mental impairments. Data for 2000-2011 are provided by mental disorder: Organic mental disorders; Schizophrenic and other psychotic disorders; Mood disorders; Intellectual disability; Anxiety disorders; Somatoform disorders; Eating and tic disorders; Personality disorders . . .
