Centers For Medicare & Medicaid Services Memorandum Of Understanding For Washington State Duals Demonstration
On November 25, 2013, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) it had signed a memorandum of understanding with the Washington State Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS) to launch the HealthPathWashington managed care program to integrate care for people dually eligible for both Medicare and Medicaid (dual eligibles). About 27,000 Washington State dual eligibles living in King and Snohomish counties will be able to participate. Enrollment is slated to start after July 1, 2014.
