In January 2014, the National Center for Chronic Disease Prevention and Health Promotion released an infographic to promote use of alcohol screening and brief counseling by health professionals to help people who are drinking too much to drink less. Drinking too much is defined and statistics on prevalence of use, likelihood of a conversation with a health professional, and screening outcomes are provided.
