A court ruling in May 2013 lifted an injunction preventing the federal Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) from disclosing how much it paid individual physicians. On August 6, 2013, CMS sought public comment on its plans to revise policies on disclosing Medicare fee-for-service reimbursements made to individual physicians.
