Pennsylvania’s Universal Health Services Is Buying Anchorage-Based North Star Behavioral Health
OPEN MINDS, The Behavioral Health & Social Service Industry Analyst Industry News Universal Health Services announced on November 25, 2002, that it would close a deal to buy North Star Behavioral Health by December 31, 2002, for an undisclosed amount. North Star generates a yearly revenue of approximately $20 million from its 117 beds in three facilities in Anchorage.
