OPEN MINDS, The Behavioral Health & Social Service Industry Analyst Industry Statistics In 2005, 83% of public and private substance abuse treatment facilities in the United States offered at least one special or group treatment program addressing needs of specific client types. Most common were programs for co-occurring mental and substance abuse disorder programs, which were offered by 38% of the responding facilities.
