Michigan To Implement Medicaid HIFA Waiver In October 2002

OPEN MINDS, The Behavioral Health & Social Service Industry Analyst Industry News On October 1, 2002, Michigan plans to implement its Medicaid Health Insurance Flexibility and Accountability (HIFA) waiver. The HIFA waiver is a new Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) initiative that gives states more control over their Medicaid programs.
