OPEN MINDS The Behavioral Health & Social Service Industry Analyst Industry News Total health plan costs have jumped again, up 16.7% in 1989 to $2,748 per employee on average. This compares to $2,354 per employee in 1988, according to a new survey by A. Foster Higgins & Company, Inc. that was reported by Jerry Geisel in the January 29, 1990 issue of Business Insurance.
