NY Drug Rule May Hurt Upjohn
OPEN MINDS The Behavioral Health & Social Service Industry Analyst Industry News Effective January 1, New York health regulations added benzodiazepines to a list of frequently abused drugs. As a result require doctors in New York who prescribe these drugs will be required to write all prescriptions on registered prescription forms. The new law requires physicians and pharmacists to keep one copy of the triplicate registered prescription form. The third copy is sent to the New York State Department of Health.
