Medco Consolidates Behavioral Health Activities

OPEN MINDS The Behavioral Health & Social Service Industry Analyst Industry News Medco Containment Services, Inc. has established a new subsidiary, Medco Behavioral Care Corporation (MBCC), for its managed behavioral health services. Previously, Medco purchased both American Biodyne and Personal Performance Consultants (PPC). Biodyne became a wholly-owned subsidiary of Medco in December 1992. MBCC is organized into two strategic business units (SBUs)—American Biodyne and Personal Performance Consultants. PPC will focus on the corporate and union markets.
