OPEN MINDS, The Behavioral Health & Social Service Industry Analyst Industry News On June 7, 2006, the Center for Health Care Strategies (CHCS) announced that California, Indiana, Nevada, New York, Pennsylvania, and Washington will participate in a 24-month CHCS Purchasing Institute on Managed Care for People with Disabilities. The states, which were selected through a competitive process, will receive help designing, implementing, and evaluating managed care programs for adults with disabilities.
