CompCare Settles Shareholder Suit
OPEN MINDS The Behavioral Health & Social Service Industry Analyst Industry News Comprehensive Care Corporation of St. Louis, Missouri has settled a shareholder class-action suit that was related to its failed attempt to merge with First Hospital Corporation. The company will pay shareholders $150,000 in cash and issue 687,500 shares of stock (valued at $1.8 million) to settle the suit, according to a report in the July 16, 1990 issue, of Health Week.
