The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) was asked this past year to develop a workforce report, specifically addressing the addictions workforce and SAMHSA's collaboration with the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA). SAMHSA prepared this report to Congress to provide an overview of the facts and issues affecting the substance abuse and mental health workforce in America.
