California’s Karen Larsen Appointed New Yolo County Mental Health Director

The Yolo County Department of Alcohol, Drug & Mental Health has named Karen Larsen has the new Mental Health Director and Alcohol & Drug Administrator. Larsen is a licensed marriage and family therapist with a master's of science in counseling from Sacramento State. She has been providing services for mental health and substance use disorders for over 20 years. She has managed several substance abuse programs throughout the region and has worked in every modality of substance abuse treatment, including detoxification, residential and outpatient. This was reported by the Daily Democrat on March 17, 2014.
