Illinois’ TriZetto Corp. Hires New CEO After 10-Month Search

TriZetto Corp. has appointed a new chief executive officer (CEO) — R. Andrew Eckert, the former head of CRC Health Group, a provider of substance abuse treatment and adolescent youth services. Eckert replaces Trace Devanny, who stepped down suddenly in May. He takes over a company that opened a 168,000-square-foot world headquarters in Douglas County one year ago and recently reported record earnings for 2013. TriZetto provides health care information technology to insurers representing more than half of the insured U.S. population and to about 200,000 physicians.
