Nebraska’s Medicaid And Long-Term Care Director Dies After Battle With Cancer
Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) Medicaid and Long-Term Care Director Vivianne Chaumont passed away Thursday after a battle with cancer. Chaumont was 60-years-old. Chaumont was appointed by Gov. Heineman in May 2007 to serve as the director of the HHS System's Finance and Support agency and transitioned to director of the Medicaid and Long-Term Care division a few months later.
