Michigan Contract Extension With Unisys To Develop & Implement MiSACWIS

On April 30, 2014, the Michigan Department of Human Services (DHS) launched its new Michigan Statewide Automated Child Welfare Information System (MiSACWIS) that features an online “real-time” case management application that links DHS, the court system, and community-based provider organizations. The system provides a case management tool for children and families involved with the child welfare system via Children’s Protective Services, foster care, or adoption.
