The presentation was delivered by Lisa Kirsch, deputy director of Texas Medicaid and the state Children’s Health Insurance Program and Texas Health and Human Services Commission Executive Director Kyle L. Janek, M.D. In this presentation, Ms. Kirsch and Dr. Janek outlined the background of the state’s 1115 Medicaid demonstration waiver, the formation of the 20 Regional Healthcare Partnerships, and the four types of Delivery System Reform Incentive Payment (DSRIP) projects sought.
