Pennsylvania’s Hershey Medical Center Leader Harold Paz Leaving For Aetna

Longtime Hershey Medical Center leader Dr. Harold L. Paz is leaving to become executive vice president and chief medical officer of nationally prominent insurer Aetna, the organizations announced today.

The news comes less than two weeks after the medical center and PinnacleHealth System announced plans to combine forces. Paz has been CEO of Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, Penn State’s senior vice president for health affairs and dean of its College of Medicine since April 2006.

Paz’s last day with Penn State will be July 28, according to a news release. He will then lead clinical . . .
