On February 26, 2013, the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities (DODD) Director John Martin presented DODD’s goals for a new reimbursement structure for Intermediate Care Facilities serving individuals with developmental disabilities (ICF/DD). In his testimony to the Ohio House Committee On Finance And Appropriations, Health And Human Services Subcommittee, Mr. Martin explained how provisions in House Bill 59 (Ohio’s budget bill) change ICF/DD reimbursement and will help the state downsize its Developmental Center population and provide waiver support services to more individuals.
