Massachusetts’ Mental Health Association of Greater Lowell Names New Leader
After a national search, the Mental Health Association of Greater Lowell did not have to look farther than Winchester to find its next executive director. Daniel Nakamoto was tapped to lead the organization with nearly 30 years of experience in the field of behavioral health. He will be tasked with developing a closer relationship with primary care and helping prepare the agency for changes required by the Affordable Care Act.
"It's an urban setting and I welcome that," Nakamoto said. "Being right in the community is very attractive."
Nakamoto was the executive director at the North American Family Institute . . .
