Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services’ Division of Child and Family Services Contract With Nebraska Family Collaborative For Fiscal Year 2014-2015

On July 1, 2014, the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) finalized a child welfare case management contract with Nebraska Families Collaborative (NFC) that will continue the state's legislatively established pilot privatization initiative for another year. The contract is valued at up to $59.5 million for the year ending June 30, 2015. NFC will provide a system of care in the Eastern Service Area for families and their children and youth who are in state custody due to involvement with the child welfare system.
