In this July 1, 2014, letter Disability Rights Ohio notified the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities (DODD) that the state may be in violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) because it continues to fund, oversee, and rely on segregated residential placements, sheltered workshops, and facility-based day services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD).
