Delivery System Reform: Progress Report From CMS To U.S. Senate Committee On Finance

The federal Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) reported its progress to the U.S. Senate Committee On Finance on implementing health care delivery system reforms mandated by the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010. The report topics include hospital readmission rates, value-based payment structures, patient safety initiatives, care coordination initiatives, payment accuracy, and a competitive bidding initiative for durable medical equipment and supplies.
