Karen Oxler Named President Of Lancaster General Hospital
Karen Oxler will succeed Tom Beeman as president of Lancaster General Hospital on Aug. 18, in a move designed to allow Beeman to focus on the big picture at LGH parent company Lancaster General Health.
Beeman will remain president and CEO of LG Health, and Oxler will remain the system's senior vice president of hospital operations and nurse executive, LGH spokesman, John Lines said.
Oxler joined LG Health in 2012 after retiring from the United States Navy; she spent 38 years in the service, attaining the rank of rear admiral and last serving as deputy surgeon general of Navy . . .
