Goodwill Easter Seals Miami Valley will have a new leader as the charitable organization nears completion of a multi-million dollar headquarters in Dayton.

Lance W. Detrick, most recently the agency’s vice president of business development and administration, was named president and chief executive officer, effective Sept. 1. He competed against about 200 candidates nationally for the top post. Former President and CEO Amy Luttrell became leader of Goodwill Industries of Kentucky in June.
