Magellan Health’s Pharmacy Business Obtains URAC Accreditation

Magellan Health, Inc. announced its pharmacy business, Magellan Rx Management, has obtained accreditations in Health Utilization Management, version 7.0, and Specialty Pharmacy, version 2.0, from URAC.

URAC’s Health Utilization Management Accreditation ensures that all types of organizations conducting utilization review follow a process that is clinically sound and respects patients’ and providers’ rights while giving payers reasonable guidelines to follow.
