On May 3, 2013, the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) said it was preparing for an early summer release for next request for proposals (RFP) for its Foster Care Redesign initiative. In preparation for the second contract, DFPS posted a Request for Information (RFI) from December 28, 2012 through January 16, 2013, to solicit stakeholder feedback on how to modify the next RFP.
