New Mexico Telemedicine Legislation Senate Bill 69 Of 2013

New Mexico Senate Bill 69 requires private health insurance plans to reimburse for telemedicine services at the same rate as in-person services. Telemedicine is defined as including real-time interactive audio, video, or other telecommunications technology, including store-and-forward- technology. The legislation does not specify an effective date.
