Virginia Medicaid is moving forward with its plans to implement a three-year demonstration project to integrate financing and service delivery for people eligible for both Medicare and Medicaid. On April 10, 2013, the Virginia Department of Medical Assistance Services (DMAS) released a request for proposal (RFP 2013-05) seeking bids from managed care organizations (MCOs) interested in participating in VirginiaÂ’s duals demonstration project.
