South Carolina State’s Juvenile Justice Director To Retire From Gov. Haley’s Cabinet
South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley will see more turnover in her cabinet when Margaret Barber, director of the S.C. Department of Juvenile Justice, retires soon. State Rep. Shannon Erickson, R-Beaufort, and Sen. Mike Fair, R-Greenville, informally announced Barber’s exit from the leadership post at a child-welfare committee meeting that took place at Juvenile Justice. Governor Haley appointed Barber to the post in February 2011.
